Andrew Thomas

IT Director (UK)

A graduate of the University of Wolverhampton in the UK, Andrew has been developing software professionally for over 30 years. He developed in-house systems for the TI Group, before becoming International IT Manager of Apollo Sports Technologies based in Chicago. As a freelance software developer back in the UK, Andrew then broadened his experience in the automotive industry and public sector, before moving to a commercial software house as their IT Director leading the development of an award-winning eCommerce site creation tool, and a web-based local directory service. For the past 20 years Andrew has predominantly developed travel and payment solutions, with booking engines, fare management solutions, API’s, profile management systems, and corporate payment solutions part of his portfolio. Andrew directs the eGlobalfares development team out of the UK.
