How does eGlobalfares offer my agency access
to fares we would otherwise not know about?
eGlobalfares has researched and forged relationships
with the most reliable consolidators who, collectively,
provide a comprehensive range of private fares originating
from many countries. It would be otherwise difficult
for any TMC to identify and constantly review these
fares and fare sources– or to reap the revenue
and customer service benefits they present!
How does eGlobalfares handle Private Fares?
eGlobalfares provides a comprehensive range of private
fares for major airlines from contracted suppliers
around the globe. Unlike our competitors who only
provide a list of fares that need to be checked line
by line, the eGlobalfares booking system will check
availability first from the CRS and then
respond with 2 fares for each airline to offer:
1. The
most flexible private fare
2. The
lowest available fare including mixed class inventory
The system will also offer flight alternatives for
each fare level for easy selection and booking.
Does eGlobalfares offer access to low cost carriers?
Yes, eGlobalfares provides access to “Check
No Frills” where you can find full information
on low cost carriers around the globe – often
carriers that you would not otherwise know. From
your route selection, we will not only advise which
airlines have schedules, but will also check availability
and direct you to the applicable web site to complete
your reservation while simultaneously building passive
segments into your CRS.
Does eGlobalfares offer access to all major domestic
and international airlines that my clients may
demand?
Yes, you can book trips through eGlobalfares for
your clients’ designated airlines and view
the best fares available anywhere in the world.

How do I arrange for my inventory to be represented
on eGlobalfares?
Simply contact us and
we will be glad to discuss it.
Plus, if you and your existing clients could benefit
from easy, integrated, automated fare searches and
PNR creation we can facilitate it. Just let us know
whom to contact and we can also inhibit any other
vendor inventory.
How does eGlobalfares handle display of currencies?
eGlobalfares recognizes the points of inquiry and
departure, returning fares in the local currency and provides
the agency’s home currency equivalent for ease
of comparison
eGlobalfares also sources fares in Israel which
uses European fare construction, but trades in USD.
This is appealing to US based clients who prefer
charges appear in USD and do not want to wait for
credit card statements to reflect the currency conversion.
This also precludes the normal foreign conversion
to USD if tickets are sourced in the US.
Which consolidators participate in the eGlobalfares
system?
We have a strong list of consolidator and private
fare content suppliers. Contact us for a full list.
In addition, we are more than willing to work with
any of your preferred suppliers if they are not already
eGlobalfares connected.
How does eGlobalfares help agencies make and
manage reservations on carriers with whom the agencies
do not have preferred arrangements?
eGlobalfares provides the ability to make and manage
reservations through Sabre Global Security. This
allows automated access to the live PNR for ongoing
management. Also this may create commission opportunities.
My agency has several preferred airline arrangements.
How does eGlobalfares deal with these?
eGlobalfares customizes the system configurations
to seamlessly determine whether a reservation should
be processed in-house or through eGlobalfares’ alternative
sources. We configure the system to encourage the
preferred vendor behavior.
Does eGlobalfares show mark ups and comparative
commissions available to travel agents?
eGlobalfares can be programmed for your desired
mark-up to be imbedded into the fare display or not.
You determine if you want it to be visible to your
agent, a supervisor or whomever. You also determine
where, when and if you want additional mark-ups or
reductions etc made by the agents, managers or supervisors.
We will be glad to show you how this works. eGlobalfares
is designed to be flexible to your needs.
How does eGlobalfares alert me if a change has
occurred for a planned flight?
No need to search multiple pseudo city codes for
changes! The system flags any changes that occur
to keep you and your client from being surprised.
These changes are advised daily and appear in a central
location on the eGlobalfares tool. We can even send
an email alert if so desired. When you see a flagged
record, you can review it in eGlobalfares and/or
simply cut and paste the Record Locator into Sabre
to view the live record make any needed adjustments
or to advise the client of the schedule changes.
How does eGlobalfares save agents from the trouble
of creating redundant PNR entries?
Through the use of Sabre access and Global Security
you can actually move existing first and second level
S.T.A.R. profiles into a reservation. The system
captures the user PCC and the record locator of the
completed reservation enabling the agents and agency
to access these records. We invite you to see how

Can other agency PCC’s get access to the
PNR?
The entry can easily be cloned to permit access
for other offices of the agency and emergency after-hours
service requirements or other needs. These records
are secured to your PCC’s only, and no outside
agency can gain access.
How long does it take to get the eGlobalfares
system configured and implemented?
Once you provide us the necessary information to
configure your site(s) we can have you operational
in less than one week!
What sort of training and support are provided?
Most TMC’s find that the eGlobalfares system
is so intuitive that their agents become expert in
its use within a few hours. As part of the
installation process, we will work with your Training
Department to assure that we have a plan to have
all agents fully up to speed on all system features
quickly.
What types of reports does eGlobalfares provide?
eGlobalfares’ powerful reporting tool can
provide a host of customized reports for the benefit
of the user. eGlobalfares will provide timely information
to a ‘supervisor’ or other designated
personnel on fare quotes requested by agent log-in,
including margin and preferred airline requests.
We can even send confirmation of each booking automatically
to a supervisor. Statistics can then be generated
to analyze missed opportunities and evaluate corporate
performance, profitability and how to further leverage
this innovative tool.
Aside from great fares and real time service,
how does eGlobalfares help me provide my clients
with exceptional service?
