Adelman Travel Group Signs multi-year agreement
with eGlobalfares
MILWAUKEE – July 17, 2006 – Adelman
Travel Group has announced the signing of a
multi-year agreement with eGlobalfares, LLC.,
an innovative, technology-based supplier of
published and unpublished fares. The
company, with offices in West Allis, Wis.,
and Stafford, UK, will provide Adelman Travel
with efficient access to global point-of-sale
and private fare content. Adelman Travel’s
relationship with eGlobalfares began in 2005
as a beta test customer and it proved to be
a successful partnership. Adelman Travel is
now actively launching the tool to all of its
agent desktops. The company continues to work
closely with eGlobalfares to further streamline
its processes.
“The installation was seamless by working
with the eGlobalfares team of experts. The
tool allows us to find cost-effective fares
from around the globe and deliver them to our
valued corporate and leisure customers, while
retaining our ability to apply our mid-office
quality control tools, capture and consolidate
data for reporting and process the records
through our back office accounting system,” said
Bob Chaiken, CFO and COO at Adelman Travel
Group. “Having native Sabre access
and viewership for our agents while maintaining
full security of reservation records and personal
traveler information is extremely beneficial.
The partnership with eGlobalfares also provides
us with the necessary vehicle to best service
global accounts because we have links to point-of-sale
fares with our partners across the globe. We
are very excited to offer these and other distinct
advantages to our current and future valued
clients,” said Chaiken.
