About Us

eGlobalfares was founded by travel industry professionals who realized that available global booking portals lacked many of the features that travel agencies need and their clients are beginning to demand.

Ian Bennyworth and Dave Rifkin met courtesy of Travelsavers consortia in their special international agency trade group TWIN. This select group of agencies encouraged the regular communication, the ability to exchange local market fare information and the opportunity to work with one another to provide service to their respective multi-national corporate accounts. This was via a manual process and there was a huge need for the automation of this facility. It became clear that Ian and Dave shared the same vision and a great interest in creating an automated solution. Ian grabbed a hold of the idea and the eGlobalfares tool was on its way to being a reality. The goal was to facilitate the real-time access of fares around the globe, customized configurations for closed groups of agencies/offices, access to full multi-GDS private and published fares and the ability of efficiently making, processing and managing international and domestic reservations.

Ian, based upon the obvious potential of such a unique airfare management tool proceeded to form eGlobalfares. Thanks to the expertise of  Ian and under the project management of Andrew Thomas, eGlobalfares was able to evolve quickly and develop its functionality whilst increasing airfare content from key contacts made during Ian's work experience in the USA, and Europe. eGlobalfares is a constantly evolving, cutting edge global solution for travel management companies and corporations worldwide. eGlobalfares is designed to be flexible and adaptable to help its clients in many different areas. eGlobalfares prides itself on being an end to end solution provider.

Early on Dave maintained his interest in the general development of eGlobalfares and indeed it was no surprise when he made a major investment in and joined the company in 2006 as President and CEO.
